Our telehealth therapy services for sexual assault survivors provide serve as an accessible entry point for survivors, connecting them with a trained SA provider who can help them learn how to heal from PTSD and get their life back.

Why We Focus on Veterans and Marginalized Communities

Sexual assault affects every community, but Veterans and marginalized groups often face additional challenges when seeking help. In Arizona, Native American women, Veterans, and BIPOC individuals experience higher rates of sexual violence, yet face systemic barriers to accessing care. We’re here to change that.

Veterans & Military Sexual Trauma

Military Sexual Trauma (MST) affects 1 in 3 female Veterans and 1 in 50 male Veterans. For those who have served, the stigma surrounding trauma and access to specialized care can make healing difficult. TRSAZ’s Veteran-centered approach ensures that those who served have access to trauma-informed therapy.

Marginalized Communities

Arizona’s Indigenous, Black, and LGBTQ+ populations experience sexual assault at disproportionately higher rates. However, cultural stigma, economic inequality, and a lack of accessible services often prevent survivors from seeking help. Our goal is to break down these barriers by offering care that respects cultural differences, trauma histories, and the unique challenges these communities face.

Testimonials

What Survivors are Saying

Jordanna is wonderful. She was the first therapist to actually listen to me and provide actual help. Every time I left, I felt like I was leaving with a sense that I was making progress. Yes, she had me download some meditation apps on my phone but those were to help with my anxiety outside of our appointments. She has been a huge help with my anxiety and depression, and I am so thankful I decided to go here.
